Departmental Long Distance
PAETEC Communications provides long distance calling service to the university at a rate of 5.4 cents per minute for domestic calls. Long distance charges are billed directly to departments, and each department can review their monthly billing statement online via the Inside Towson page.
University telephones are provided to conduct university business. Departments that allow personal calls by employees assume responsibility of seeking reimbursement for associated long distance charges. Pay telephones are conveniently located throughout campus for employees to conduct personal matters.
