Ruckus Network Inc., a legal music downloading service, provides over 2.5 million tracks of free music to college students. If you have a valid Towson University email account that ends in .edu, you qualify for free downloading. To register, simply visit Ruckus.com and click on “Join Ruckus.” Then enter your school email address and get started!

In addition to downloading music for free, Ruckus users can utilize the service’s “social networking” features including comment boards, shared play lists, and user profiles. Movie downloading service is also available to students through Ruckus with a rate of $15.00/term (fall & spring only).

Ruckus Network Inc. also offers thier unlimited music downloading services to Faculty and Staff for $3.99/month.
