WebEx

What is WebEx?

WebEx is a Web-based collaborative technology that allows users to share resources (documents, desktops, web-browser etc.) remotely and communicate with each other using voice, video and chat. The technology allows faculty to deliver instruction, conference with colleagues and students or simply record their lectures on any computer to make them available online.

Technical Requirements

In order to participate in a Webex meeting using VOIP, participants will be required to acquire a headset with microphone. Though participants may use web cameras they are not a requirement. Standard headset and webcam will work with Webex.

Please note that when you run Webex for the first time, it will install a driver onto your computer and this will require you to have administrative privileges on your computer.
