Towson University is Maryland’s Metropolitan University and the second largest institution in the University System of Maryland. As a premier comprehensive university, Towson is nationally recognized for excellent undergraduate and graduate programs.
Towson’s New Employee Orientation process is comprehensive and has five components:
- New Hire Session and Benefits Review
- University Orientation
- Online Orientation
- Technology Orientation
- Mentorship Program
Shortly after your start date you will receive an invitation to the next monthly University Orientation.
As you have discovered this online orientation is available to you today. This site contains information that will be helpful as you begin your employment. Please take a few minutes and browse through the links to the left and complete the new employee checklist in the upper right hand corner. By doing so, you will discover important information regarding policies, procedures, benefits, health/safety, facilities, services and resources that are available to you.
