Each semester the Bursar's Office will credit the student's Perkins Loan and all other Financial Aid that was awarded (except Federal Work Study) to the student's university account.

If the Financial Aid award exceeds the semester charges for tuition, fees, room, board, etc., the student will have a credit balance and will be due a "Rebate Check". 

• If you register early and finalize your aid early, your financial aid Rebate Check may be available to you as early as ten (10) days before the first day of classes.
• If you register late, you will not receive the Rebate Check until at least three (3) weeks after the creation of a credit balance.

You will receive an e-mail from the university Bursar's Office notifying you that your Rebate Check is available for pick up.
