Located on the fourth floor of the Administration Building, the University Budget Office manages the development, monitoring and analysis of the university's $270 million operating budget.  Other responsibilities of the University Budget Office include:

• Forecasting and analyzing the financial status of the university
• Projecting revenues and expenditures , as well as monitoring the actual revenue and expenditure patterns of the university for both internal and external constituents
• Responding to fiscal inquiries from the University System of Maryland, the Department of Legislative Services and/or the Department of Budget and Management
• Ensuring compliance with the operating budget, State of Maryland and NACUBO guidelines
• Advising the resolution of budget issues
• Maintaining position control and vacancy reporting of state positions
