Campus Escort Programs

University police officer escorts students across campus.

Campus escort programs aim to improve the safety of individuals traveling alone on campus at night.  Safe  Walk, Safe Ride and individual secort services are available and can be arranged by calling 410-704-SAFE (7233).

Safe Walk provides uniformed police aides and police officers to escort individuals of the campus community walking on campus alone 24 hours a day.  Uniformed personnel equipped with radios will meet individuals at any campus location and walk them to a chosen campus destination.

TU Parking and Transportation provides transportation services through the gold route bus services on campus until 2 a.m.  After 2 a.m. Parking and Transportation operates the Safe Ride, as and on call point to point service provided daily from 2:30 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. at locations accessible on campus with a vehicle.  University Village is not served by Safe Ride.  Additional information about the Safe Ride and Transportation services is available at: http://www.towson.edu/adminfinance/auxservices/parking/shuttle/oncampus.asp
