The Architecture, Engineering and Construction group provides the following services:
- Storage and maintenance of construction documents
and specifications, as well as other record documents for all buildings,
utilities and site improvements on campus
- Development and preparation of plans, reports and
cost estimates for all university construction, alterations, renovation
and maintenance projects
- Selection and management of outside
architectural and engineering design consultants as required for all
university construction, alteration, renovation and maintenance projects
- Preparation and coordination of design documents
and bid specifications for new construction, alterations, renovation,
upgrade and maintenance projects on campus
- Coordination of all projects involving new construction
or renovation with the affected campus departments and activities, and with applicable regulatory agencies
- Coordination of inspection of any new construction or renovation work completed on campus
