Towson University Campus Master Plan

About the Plan

Next Steps

With the approval of the campus master plan by the University System of Maryland, Board of Regents on October 17, 2003, the next steps involve implementing the recommendations of the plan to support and advance the university's mission.   In fact, some parts of the plan have already been implemented or are in process and are resulting in positive changes on the campus.

The university's Department of Facilities Management, Office of Planning will be responsible for developing new projects in accordance with the recommendations and guidelines set forth in the approved master plan.   This website has been developed to serve as the primary communication tool for distributing information on the progress of implementing the campus master plan and for receiving questions and comments about development issues on campus.

Please check out and review all the master plan documents hyperlinked to this website to get a full picture of the future development vision for Towson University.   Of special interest is the master plan video, which takes you through a virtual tour of what the campus will look like when the vision for campus is implemented.
