Para-Transit Service
The university's para-transit service offers scheduled pick-ups to all students, staff and faculty members with certified para-transit needs. If you have a permanent or temporary mobility concern, this is the service for you. Para-transit vans are equipped with a wheelchair lift and will make pickups at any campus location accessible by vehicle. The para-transit van is in operation Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
During breaks, minimester and summer sessions, service is available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Transports will be provided within 30 minutes of the requested pick-up time. Please call 410-704-7433(RIDE) to request para-transit service. If you know that you will require ongoing service and would like to arrange regularly scheduled pick-ups, please provide your schedule to the driver.
In addition to the para-transit service, the front seats of each campus shuttle bus are reserved for individuals with disabilities. Not all shuttle buses are equipped to accommodate wheelchair users, however transportation may be arranged through the use of the para-transit service.
