Non-freshman Residents
Residents who live in any housing complex located on Towson University property, including West Village and Millennium Hall are eligible to purchase a permit as indicated below. Many areas have a limited number of parking spaces near the housing complex. Once all permits for a particular area are sold out, remaining eligible students will be able to purchase a permit for the Towson Center lots. Eligible students may purchase an annual permit. Resident students who move off campus or no longer need their permit may exchange their resident permit for a commuter permit or return it for a pro-rated refund.
NOTE: Towson University permits are not valid in Millennium Hall parking spaces. Millennium Hall spaces are not managed by Towson University and are strictly enforced by the building's management company through towing programs .
Main Campus Residents
Glen Towers Residents
Students living in Glen Towers, are eligible to obtain a resident permit for lot 26 near the Glen Towers. Juniors and seniors will be given the opportunity to purchase a lot 26 permit, from July 28, 2008 to August 3, 2008. Effective August 4, 2008 all remaining spaces will be sold on a first come, first served basis to eligible students. In the event no spaces are available in Lot 26, overflow parking will be available at the Towson Center lots.
Once all spaces for the lot have been sold, eligible residents wishing to purchase a permit will have the option to purchase a Towson Center permit and place their name on a waiting list for Lot 26. If spaces are no longer available for your preferred lot, please place you name on the wait list prior to purchasing a Towson Center permit.
North Campus Residents ( Ward, West, Newell, Prettyman, Residence Tower, Richmond and Scarborough)
Students living in North campus residence halls are eligible to obtain a resident permit for lot 7 near Ward Hall. Lot 7 parking permits are valid in lot 7a behind Ward Hall and in the designated lot 7 area of the roof of the Towsontown garage. In the event no spaces are available at Lot 7 overflow parking is available at the Towson Center lots.
West Village Residents
West Village residents, including Towson Run, Paca and Tubman, are eligible to obtain a West Village annual permit while supplies last. Juniors and seniors will be given the opportunity to purchase a West Village permit, from July 28, 2008 to August 3, 2008. Effective August 4, 2008 all remaining spaces will be sold on a first come, first served basis to eligible students. In the event no spaces are available at West Village, overflow parking is available at the Towson Center lots.
Due to on-going construction, a limited number of annual permits will be sold. Once all spaces for the lot have been sold, eligible residents wishing to purchase a permit will have the option to purchase a Towson Center permit. If spaces are no longer available for your preferred lot, please place you name on the wait list prior to purchasing a Towson Center permit.
Millennium Hall Residents
Millennium Hall permits are issued and managed by the Millennium Hall management office. Please contact their office for information about the availability and cost of permits. Millennium Hall residents who are unable to obtain a Millennium Hall permit will be eligible to purchase a West Village fall semester permit or Towson Center permit based on availability. Those purchasing a fall semester permit will only be able to renew their permit in the spring for a Towson Center permit.
