LIMITED SPACES ARE AVAILABLE BUY YOUR PERMIT EARLY
Residents who live in any housing complex located on Towson University property, including West Village, Millennium Hall, Paca and Tubman are eligible to purchase a permit as indicated below. Many areas have a limited number of parking spaces near the housing complex. Once all spaces for the lot have been sold, eligible residents wishing to purchase a permit should place their name on the waitlist for their preferred lot and the Towson Center lots. Follow e-Parking links to Waitlist management. Please do not contact the office regarding wait list status. You may monitor your status through Wait List management on the parking web site by clicking on the e-Parking link.
Those who are unable to obtain a permit may not have a vehicle on campus.
Eligible students may only purchase an annual permit (See West Village exception due to construction). Resident students who move off campus or no longer need their permit must exchange their resident permit for a commuter permit or return it for a pro-rated refund.
Permit Sales
Upperclassmen (60+ credits) will be given the opportunity to purchase resident permits, beginning July 29, 2009. Effective August 3, 2009 all remaining spaces will be sold on a first come, first served basis to all eligible resident students.
Main Campus Residents
Glen Towers Residents
Students living in the Glen Towers are eligible to obtain a resident permit for lot 26 near the Glen Towers. In the event that no spaces are available in lot 26, overflow parking for permit holders is available in the Towson Center lots.
North Campus Residents ( Ward, West, Newell, Prettyman, Residence Tower, Richmond and Scarborough)
Students living in residence halls on the north side of campus are eligible to obtain a resident permit for lot 7 near Ward Hall. Lot 7 parking permits are valid in lot 7a behind Ward Hall and in the designated lot 7 area of the roof of the Towsontown garage. In the event no spaces are available at lot 7, overflow parking for permit holders is available at the Towson Center lots.
West Village Residents - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY FOR CONSTRUCTION IMPACTS
West Village residents, including Towson Run, Paca and Tubman, are eligible to obtain a West Village annual permit while supplies last. In the event no spaces are available at West Village, overflow parking for permit holders is available at the Towson Center lots.
Due to ongoing construction, a limited number of annual permits will be sold. A limited number of fall semester permits will also be sold for this area. Those with semester permits should expect that they will not be able to get a permit for the spring for any location.
Millennium Hall Residents
Millennium Hall permits are issued and managed by the Millennium Hall management office. Please contact their office for information about the availability and cost of permits. Millennium Hall residents who are unable to obtain a Millennium Hall permit will be eligible to place their name on a wait list for West Village and Towson Center permits.
Those who may be awarded a fall semester West Village permit will only be able to renew their permit in the spring if space is available. Those with semester permits should expect that they will not be able to get a permit for the spring for any location.
Exception Requests
Residents who wish to request an exception to park on campus, may do so by completing a resident exception request form. Documentation must include all information as indicated on the form.
Exceptions will only be granted for extreme situations - typically those that are of a medical nature. Work related requests will not be considered. At its discretion, parking services will determine if an exception will be granted. If it is granted, the parking location will be determined by the department. Individuals receiving an exception should expect to be assigned parking at the Towson Center lots.
