Roy Cubbler has extensive experience in the food service industry. He has spent time at such campuses as West Chester University and George Washington University. He has been at Towson University since January 2004.

 

John Brady

John Brady graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a BS in Business Management. He began his culinary career in a family owned restaurant in Philadelphia. John left ‘the kitchen’ and joined campus dining services as a manager, working his way up at various colleges and universities in PA, NJ, VA and Delaware. John, started out as an assistant Food Service Director and moved up the ladder to Resident District Manager at the University of Delaware. John joined the Towson Dining Services team in the spring of 2006.

Chris Shoul

Chris Shoul has been at Towson University since 2000, beginning as a Sous Chef with Black & Gold Catering and progressing to Campus Executive Chef. Chris studied culinary arts at BICC and CIA. He is a certified Chef de Cuisine through the American Culinary Federation and a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Culinary Network for Chartwells.

 

Beth Valle

Beth Valle is a Towson University Alumni who joined the Chartwells team in 2005. She has worked in the food service industry for eight years starting at a local catering company. She is a graduate of Towson University and currently enrolled at TU for her MA degree.

Chris Hack

Chris Hack graduated from Towson State University in 1988 with a BS in Business Management and Marketing. He has been in the food service industry for over 20 years, beginning at a local country club as a bus boy. Chris has worked for many different companies in the Maryland-Pennsylvania-Delaware area. He spent five years at the Baltimore Convention Center, four years at the Baltimore Ravens Football Stadium, two years at the Philadelphia Zoo, and four years at the University of Delaware. Chris joined the Towson University team in June 2006.

Dave Tosi is a 1978 graduate of Penn State University with a BS degree in Food Service and Hospitality Management. He has worked in the college environment for 29 years, the last 22 at Towson University. Dave is especially proud of his involvement with the Residence Department, the International Student & Scholar Office (ISSO) and the Muslim Student Association (MSA) on campus. Dave is actively involved in human rights activities and works with refugees and asylum seekers.

Kerry Ballek MS RD LDN CDE 410-704-3793 kballek@towson.edu

Kerry has been a registered dietitian for 14 years. She has a MS degree in nutrition and is a certified diabetes educator. She obtained her BS degree from the University of MD, College Park and completed her dietetic internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has worked for hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies and a dialysis clinic. Kerry joined Chartwells in August of 2008.
