Locations, Hours and Menus
Towson University has 16 dining venues on campus: three all-you-care-to-eat dining facilities, eleven a-la-carte locations and two convenience stores. Menu options range from traditional favorites to vegetarian, kosher and halal cuisine. Meals can be purchased through your OneCard or with cash, Mastercard or Visa cards at all locations.
Meal Periods
Breakfast: 7 a.m.–11 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m.–4:15 p.m.
Dinner: 4:15 p.m.–11:30 p.m.
All-You-Care-To-Eat Dining Facilities
Both dining halls accept meals, points, or cash. One meal to enter, cash rate is $5.65 for breakfast, $8.30 for lunch and brunch
and $9.00 for dinner, not including tax. The dining points rate is $5.35/$7.75/$8.55 for breakfast, lunch and dinner, respectively.
$5 Friday's allows anyone with a TU ID to have lunch at Glen Marketplace, Newell Dining Hall, or West Village Commons Dining Hall for $5 (cash or credit only).
Glen Marketplace
Located in the Glen Complex, this dining facility features a brick-oven pizza station and a wide variety of popular all-you-care-to-eat menu options, including vegetarian and vegan. It’s a comfortable, contemporary atmosphere with a window-wall view of the beautiful Glen.
The Glen Marketplace is open from 7:30 a.m. to 7: 30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Newell Dining Hall
The Newell Dining Hall is located on the second floor of Newell, above the Den. The dining hall features a Mongolian Grill, spectacular salad bar, Kosher Korner and a wide variety of popular all-you-care-to-eat menu options.
It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
West Village Commons Dining Hall
This brand new dining hall features all the favorites, along with plenty of new and exciting food options. Offerings include a quality hot line, Italian hearth over, grill, deli, deluxe salad bar, and so much more. Enjoy your meal with a beautiful view of the new West Village courtyard. It is open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
A-la-Carte Dining Facilities
7720 Café
The 7720 Café on the first floor of the Administration Building is managed by our catering chef and serves breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, choose from eggs, pancakes and other hot dishes to cereal, yogurt and bagels. For lunch, have a custom-made sandwich from the deli or choose from the daily hot specials, grill selections, full salad bar, soup or desserts. 7720 is open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Arts Cafe
The Arts Cafe is the perfect place to unwind before, after or in between classes. It offers paninis, Ladles Kettle Kreations, sushi, bakery items, Outtakes sandwiches, salads and snacks and Starbucks coffee. Cafe is location in the Center of Arts building and open Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Brick Street Cafe
For those on the go, Brick Street Cafe in Hawkins Hall offers Seattle’s Best Coffee, Outtakes grab-and-go sandwiches and salads, and made-to-order deli delights from Leo’s.B. Street Corner featuring seasonal favorites! Café Mattone serves hot personal pan pizzas, calzones, and pasta.
There are also breakfast sandwiches, bakery items and sushi. Open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Commons (West Village)
Located in the NEW West Village Commons building, this a la carte facility offers quality brands: Einstein Bros. Bagel, Jamba Juice, and Coyote Jack's Grill. Lots of options from morning to night!
Einstein's open Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Jamba Juice open Monday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Coyote Jack's open Monday through Friday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Liberal Arts Cafe
NEW! A quiet little nook located on the fourth floor of the beautiful new Liberal Arts building. Serves mostly grab and go options with Outtakes sandwiches and salads. Additional offerings include breakfast sandwiches, paninis and melts, soup, baked goods, bottled beverages, and Starbucks coffee. Open Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Newell Den
Newell Den is another extended hours facility, which features Mangiamo pizza and pasta, Green Mountain Coffee and baked goods, Signature Deli, and Roadside BBQ and Grill.
The Den is open from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 4:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Patuxent
A favorite lunchtime spot tucked into the back right corner of the University Union's second floor. The Patuxent offers made-to-order salads and pasta, Cilantro Mexican cuisine, paninis, sushi, a grill, a fruit and salad bar, daily soups and desserts.
Open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
Paws
Paws is an extended-hours facility providing food and entertainment on the first floor of the University Union. From its custom-grilled selections to baked goods, smoothies, and Starbucks Coffee, Paws' food is a delight to your taste buds. Paws' entertainment offers a stage for music and comedy events, pool tables, and large screen TVs. Private personal or small-group seating is available away from the stage. Open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday and from Noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Starbucks
Enjoy a selection of premium baked goods, sandwiches and salads as well as the requisite coffee, tea, and espresso drinks in this Cook Library location. Open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Susquehanna
Located on the second floor of the University Union, the Susquehanna offers Chick-fil-A sandwiches, french fries and salads, New York Deli & Salads, Steaks & Stuff Grill, Kappa Sushi, Pazzeli's Pizza, Action station offered Tuesday through Thursday, Ladles Kettle Kreations, Outtakes, and the Tigerfresh Bakery. The Susquehanna is open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Tiger Express
Need a place to fill-up? Tiger Express caters to students and staff members in the Towson Center with a menu that includes breakfast sandwiches, paninis, hot pretzels, Outtakes sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit smoothes, bakery items, soups, Starbucks coffee, and more.
Open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Convenience Stores
Micro Mart
Located upstairs at the Glen Dining Hall, the MicroMart is filled with snacks and on-the-go items as well as convenience goods. Open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Outtakes
Located on the first level of West Village Commons. Open Monday throughThursday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday Noon to 8 p.m., and Sunday Noon to 11 p.m.
University Club
The University Club offers an extensive seasonal lunch and dinner menu in an eclectic restaurant environment. The University Club is located in the Towson University Marriott. Meal Plans not accepted.
