Outreach

The Academic Achievement Center is proud to announce it's participation in the following outreach programs:

  • Towson University's GEAR UP CPIP grant:  Mentor High School students during lunch.  We have also worked with middle school students in Baltimore County to increase success in math, offering study skills workshops, and tutor training
     
  • Maryland Business Roundtable Achievement Counts Speakers Bureau:  Visiting schools to present information about hard work assisting with success in college and future employment
     
  • Visits from BCCC, Villa Julie, and Salisbury State University to answer questions about our learning center, tour our facility, and provide feedback
     
  • Presentations at CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) and NCLCA (National College Learning Center Association) conferences
