Division of Student Affairs
The Office of Student Activities compliments the mission of the university by creating involvement opportunities and environments that inspire students to become active members of the campus and community. Working in collaboration with faculty and staff, student activities staff offer a wide array of educational, cultural, social, and recreational programming that fosters student learning and development. Areas of responsibility for the office include: leadership development, Greek-letter organizations, commuter student services, non-traditional student services, campus programming, service and volunteerism, and student organization assistance.
Campus Programming coordinates events for September Celebration, Febfest, the Campus Activities Board, Friday Night Live!, and TU After Hours. Many of the events are free!
Community Service helps coordinate local, regional, and national service opportunities specific to students’ interest. Programs include, Project Serve, National Volunteer Week, and Tiger Serve.
Fraternity and Sorority Life strives for academic excellence in the student body and promotes involvement in community service, social networking, and leadership development.
Involved@TU allows students to connect with those who havesimilar interests. By being involved on campus, students learn more about themselves and others around them.
L.E.A.D.TU creates multiple experiences to encourage growth and development through activities such as Eat and Excel workshops, LeaderShape, conferences, and Leadership Coaches and Mentors.
Off-Campus Student Services provides a wide range of resources, services and co-curricular programs designed to enrich the educational experience of off-campus students.
