OFF-CAMPUS STUDENT SERVICES

Commuter Student Organization

What is it?

CSO was created to advocate for non-residential students, promoting awareness of commuter issues in and around Towson University. The CSO is advised by Off-Campus Student Services to provide opportunities for commuter student involvement and development. The CSO strives to create a stronger relationship between TU students and the local community through commuter events and community service commitments.

Why be a member of the CSO?

First and foremost, the CSO gives students an opportunity to get involved on campus!  Members of CSO are invited to all Off-Campus Student Services events to eat for free and join in games and activities with fellow commuters. By joining the CSO, students will receive Commuter Express a monthly newsletter with important dates and campus updates.

How can I join?

There are many ways you can join the CSO! You can either join our group on INVOLVED@TU or our iCOMMUTE listserv on lists.towson.edu.

Interested in joining the executive board?

On-campus and off-campus students are encouraged to apply. Students must show interest in commuter relations and programming. Interested applicants can pick-up an application in the Office of Student Activities, University Union, Room 217 or fill out the application below.
