Study Abroad, Service Learning and Research

The Study Abroad Program is dedicated to providing all Towson students with high quality international academic opportunities that allow them to develop knowledge and skills needed to become productive and successful members of the global community. Program participants earn Honors College credits for the work they complete abroad.

The Service Learning Program is an opportunity for students seeking intellectual excellence and leadership by providing opportunities for students that go beyond the typical college experience. Students are able to join community building opportunities with other Honors College students as well as volunteer with local service organizations in the community.

Honors College Research is an opportuniy for an Honors College student to develop an action research plan to help teachers resolve their teaching challenges.
