Mission

The mission of the Towson University Department of Accounting is to provide a quality and accessible accounting education, both graduate and undergraduate, that leads to successful career development, positions of business and social responsibility, leadership, and life-long learning in a rapidly changing global environment. This is achieved through: Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSAs) developed within a culture of excellence and a learning environment that emphasizes effective experiential learning; support of high quality faculty engaged in teaching and focused on applied scholarship; and opportunities for interaction with the professional community, and service to the community.
